I finally managed to get out on the road on Thursday to play at the beautiful Verve Bar in Leeds. By this stage, Friday night at Hoagys with the band had already fallen by the wayside so this was my only gig of the week.

I always enjoy Verve. It has a good PA, and a good following, set in a small, intimate room. I was on first, and played 6 songs. I felt I could have got more out of the audience, but it's always hit and miss. I was fairly pleased with the set, and as this is more the kind of gig I'll be doing this year, it was a good marker for the road ahead.
